"I’ve thought for a while that I should probably see a nutritionist but was hesitant to do so. I already knew (more or less!) what I should do… but between doctors, a therapist, a brief consultation with a dietitian, and the advice of well-meaning friends and family, I was sick of being given an arbitrary list of rules to follow. I have ADHD, a disordered relationship with food, and an all-or-nothing mentality that has made any real attempt to change my eating incredibly difficult. No one seemed to get that. For the neurotypical brain, nutrition can be straightforward. For the neurodiverse brain, it’s often not that simple. But Liv instantly put me at ease. Each session felt like I was talking to an old friend, and her no-judgement approach helped me approach better eating in a different, more practical way. She understands that some foods are just a sensory ‘no’, and that sometimes eating better doesn’t start with the food in your fridge but the way that fridge is organized. When I started meeting with her, I had no appetite and no idea how to interpret my body’s hunger signals. Following her advice I now feel hunger again. (This is a good thing, I promise!) Knowing when I’m hungry allows me to know when I’m not, and thus, to nourish my body accordingly."

"Trying to manage ADHD, PMDD and eating disorder recovery felt so overwhelming alone; I sought out Liv's expertise to get help streamlining all the different pieces of advice. I got excellent practical advice on recipes, supplements, timing meals, education on body processes, and every resource they thought would be helpful to me. Beyond their awesome practical support, I felt extremely comfortable asking questions, being vulnerable, and expressing hesitation. Liv is above all a compassionate and curious clinician who strives to find solutions that really work for their clients. Whenever I need help with nutrition, I know I can rely on Liv for shame-free, body-positive, and neurodivergent friendly support."

"I had been struggling with hormonal changes and finding ways to balance my lifestyle around my cycle. Liv was so easy to talk to about the different versions of me that came out during each stage, and helped me understand how to respond to each week. She put together a nutritional plan, offered advice on how to adapt and what to consider throughout the month. It felt like talking to a friend with real expertise, which allowed me to recognize how important nutrition is for hormonal health, and monthly planning according to hormonal fluctuations. I wasn't able to commit to a full program but Liv was so accommodating and customized her program to meet my own needs. I now understand what to do and what to avoid around each stage in my cycle. I highly recommend working with Liv!"

"Liv worked with me to find foods and meals that met my nutritional needs and fit with my busy schedule. In an age where there is no shortage of information about what foods you should and shouldn’t have, their approach is down to earth and low-barrier to meet you where you are at."

“I was curious to see what a nutritionist might be able to help me with because I went into the vitamin section of the health food store and could not begin to figure out what I needed! Liv helped decipher it all! Her knowledge was vast and her support for what I could manage was much appreciated. As a 62 year old woman, I definitely needed to think beyond a multivitamin that made me feel nauseous, and reading magazine articles made my head spin. The best is that I feel a lot better after sorting out better habits, some better choices and the right vitamins. Very happy and highly recommend Liv.”

I'm Liv
Hi
I’m a Certified Nutritionist and Intuitive Eating Counsellor, mainly working with folks who have ADHD and hormonal conditions.
I started to become more interested in nutrition, when I noticed how much of an improvement eating nutrient-dense foods made in terms of helping me manage my ADHD symptoms.
This connection between food, ADHD and hormones was part of my decision to go to nutrition school - I really wanted to learn more about ways to use food as one way to support my ADHD and hormones.
I now help people with ADHD find ways to nourish themselves long-term, in individualized ways that work for them. Learning to become and intuitive eater and working with the four phases of the menstrual cycle are also transformative tools that are key to my approach.
